With rigorous theological training, years of experience leading services, and comfort and confidence while public speaking, i am prepared to craft a wedding ceremony that is meaningful and reflective of you and your relationship. While my background is in the progressive christian church, i am comfortable with interfaith rituals, secular ceremonies, and creating a service that meets the needs of the couple and families that are involved. I am unabashedly affirming of lgbtq relationships, competent with trans issues, and happy to officiate queer weddings, including polyamorous commitment ceremonies. Allison 10/6/2018 Candace made our wedding so special. She gave us lots of choices in how we wanted the wedding to be set up, but she also kept the homily/message a surprise—and it was perfect. It fit us exactly, and it was beautiful and moving. Our wedding included a straight-presenting couple, several queer and trans wedding party members, and wedding guests with a wide range of theological and political beliefs, including some very conservative family members.
