a social affair dance studio is the place to learn to dance! Established in 1995, we have members from jacksonville, the jacksonville beaches, ponte vedra, mandarin, st. Augustine, orange park and even as far as georgia. We are the first coast area’s most lively, current, reliable and consistent ballroom and latin dance studio. We are located in the intracoastal/jacksonville beach area. Our studio and staff provide a comfortable, fun and friendly atmosphere to learn to dance.
we accommodate all age groups, satisfying all our students’ needs, and have something financially that all can afford. We teach ballroom dances, latin, swing, country western, salsa, night club…all the social partner dances. And we make it fun and easy to learn.
whether you are a beginner or an advanced dancer, we have a program to fit your needs. And don’t worry if you don’t have a partner – many of our members learn on their own – it’s a great way to meet new people!

Wedding Entertainment Packages and Prices
We are happy to put together a package for you. The exact price depends on several factors such as the date of the event, specific services included, number of hours spent at the event, etc.
Below are some sample packages. Most packages (and pricing) can be customized to fit your needs and budget. You can either book an existing package or click Price a Package to create a custom one.
Wedding Couple Introductory Program Wedding Entertainment Package
- Just $49 per couple, which includes:
- three (3) 30-minute private lessons
- one (1) complimentary group class lesson and
- one (1) practice party session
- During your first lesson/consultation, please bring in the song you want to dance to or we can help you pick a song, if you haven’t already chosen one. We’ll recommend a dance to suit your song and during your introductory lessons, we will design a special program for you. See a description of our packages here.
- A combination of private and group lessons is the best way to prepare for your special day. The more dance lessons you take – the more confident you will become.
- We also offer lessons for father/daughter and mother/son dances. And you can also schedule a private group lesson for your family and friends.
From This Day Forward Wedding Entertainment Package
- Perform a choreographed dance to your favorite song. Requires just enough of your time to make your special day as stress-free as possible.
- Package includes:
- Three (3) 50-Minute Private Lessons for Choreography
- Two (2) 50-Minute Private Lessons for Polishing
- Two (2) Complimentary Group Class Lessons
- Practice “performance” at one of our Practice Party Sessions
- A total of five (5) professional private dance lessons
Love and Cherish Wedding Entertainment Package
- You’ve planned the perfect wedding celebration and you don’t want to just dance — you want your first dance together as husband and wife to be a magical moment that will last forever.
- This program will take you beyond your expectations and help you achieve that crowning moment. You’ll learn turns, dips, and how to dance with control and finesse.
- Package includes:
- Six (6) 50-Minute Private Lessons for Choreography
- Four (4) 50-Minute Private Lessons for Polishing
- Four (4) Complimentary Group Class Lessons
- Practice “performance” at one of our Practice Party Sessions
- A total of ten (10) professional private dance lessons
Now and Forever Wedding Entertainment Package
- This is for the couple that wants to have a lasting memory of their special day. To be able to dance your first dance with that ‘wow-factor’ and to dance throughout the entire reception, to whatever song your DJ or band plays.
- You will be introduced to several popular social dances – fast and slow – something to fit all kinds of music. This program will take you beyond just choreography for your first dance – you will be well on your way to having the confidence to dance the night away not only at your reception, but on your honeymoon, and hopefully for years to come.
- Package includes:
- Six (6) 50-Minute Private Lessons for Choreography for first dance
- Four (4) 50-Minute Private Lessons for Polishing
- Ten (10) 50-Minute Private Lessons to learn 2 to 3 Social Dances (like Swing, Salsa, Cha Cha, Merengue, Rumba, customized for you)
- Unlimited Complimentary Group Class Lessons (during the length of your program)
- Practice “performance” at one of our Practice Party Sessions
- A total of twenty (20) professional private dance lessons
