A beautiful architectural replica of the george washington, mt vernon home was designed by architect daniel riggs huntington. This vision by the dar, daughters of the american revolution, rainier chapter women was built to embody our history, devotion to independence, and representation of freedom.
Located at the north end of seattle’s historic capitol hill, the rainier chapter house continues the commitment to community today by sharing the home for various events. A non profit service organization, funds received for events ranging from weddings to corporate meetings, memorial services to auctions, baptisms to retirement parties, are used to historically preserve the home, to help subsidize nonprofit events, fund educational endeavors and send supplies to soldiers and veterans.
