How to pick the right wedding videographer?

  • It is important to connect with studios work. If you can picture yourself in their photos and videos that is a good start.
  • Then research further to make sure their work is consistent across many samples and galleries and always check reviews.

After all time effort and planning that goes into a wedding, all that is left are your photos and video.

After all time effort and planning that goes into a wedding, all that is left are your photos and video. I often hear from couples that their day went by way too fast. And with all the excitement and stress they weren’t able to take it all in. It’s nice to be able to relive your big day through awesome photos and video for years to come.

How much does a professional videographer typically charge?

$400-$500 per hour of coverage.

How much of a deposit is required?

There is a 15% non-refundable deposit required to hold your wedding date.

What locations, backgrounds, or places result in best videos?

There is no direct formula as every wedding is different. We are there to tell the story as it happens. It’s always good to go over your timeline with your photo and video team to ensure there is ample time for awesome portraits and video. It’s always a good idea to plan to also set some time aside for sunset and night time photos and video.

What does the process look like after the wedding day, and what do couples receive (website link? DVD? USB memory stick?)?

Couples receive a 4-5 minutes highlight video, all of the raw footage and all of their photos within 1 month of the wedding. They also receive a sneak peek of 100 photos within 1 week of the wedding. Photos and video and provided via online download.

If you could ask one thing of the grooms and brides that would make your job at their wedding easier, what would it be?
