Telling stories takes many shapes. I graduated Ohio University in 1996 with a photojournalism degree and my heart set on changing the world with my images. The great thing about being a photojournalist, however, is being able to walk into any situation and make compelling images even when subject matter, lighting and time is scarce. These are the skills that have allowed me to excel the past decade as a commercial, automotive, and yes, wedding photographer in Detroit. I'm still telling stories with my images, but instead of finding them on the front page, they are found in the ads, brochures, annual reports and on the walls of clients.
