Chelsey 4/26/2019 Chelsea C. Wedding and Event Makeup Every time I have tried to get my hair and makeup done previously (school dances, bridesmaid, etc), I have always been disappointed. I don't know if it was me not being able to communicate what I wanted despite providing pictures, or if it was my hair and skin that just wouldn't cooperate. I can have problematic skin and my makeup has been cakey or oily, my hair or curls have never been what I wanted. So I had was not at all excited to start finding someone to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. It felt like throwing darts on a board, like it doesn't matter what I want because i'll probably have to fake pretend I like it because we had to change it 3 times and I just want it to be over. Everything changed when I met Lexi. We did our wedding trial for my engagement photos. I don't even think I provided her pictures or told her what I wanted. I more or less told her about my experiences and what I didn't want and hoped for the best. I don't know how the heck she did it, but it could not have been more perfect. Of all the vendors you book for your wedding, this was the least stressful for me. I had not one worry that whatever she did it would be amazing. It was beyond what I pictured and made me feel like the MOST confident version of myself on a day that I was (prior to hair and makeup) incredible nervous about. It has been difficult since we said our goodbyes almost a week ago and I had to go back to getting myself ready for the day, my poor new husband is probably like wait what? Lexi also does not have one style, she prepped women of all generations for my wedding and they all looked 100%!
